Spectacular Mid-Season Results in 2010
Clients of ExactET have cut water usage in 2010 anywhere from 40 to 70 per cent by adopting climate controlled irrigation as opposed to the traditional timer method (e.g. three times a week no matter if it’s been raining or not).
“We’re absolutely delighted with our mid-season results,” said ExactET’s CEO and co-founder, Graham Duffy. “Not only are our customers saving water and money, their landscapes have never looked better.”
For example:
- Bentall’s Foothills South industrial property watered only 9.5 times compared to 26 under the previous (three times a week) schedule. This is a 63 per cent reduction.
- Tonko’s building at 2760 45 Street S.E. watered only 10 times compared to 34 times (a 71% reduction).
- Oxford’s Canterra Towers raised shrub beds watered only five times compared to 34 times ( a 85% reduction).
- Ronmor’s three RBC office complexes watered just 14 times compared to 34 times (a 60% reduction).
Duffy explained, “On average our Calgary clients watered just 16 times as opposed to 33 times if they had stayed with out-moded timers.”
But it’s just not in Calgary that ExactET’s clients have benefited from climate controlled irrigation. The same kinds of results are being fed back from all major cities in the company’s network:[read more]
