The Rain Bird ET Manager Cartridge easily upgrades and ESP-LX Modular controller to an ET/weather-based irrigation controller. The ET Manager Cartridge saves water by making real-time adjustments to the irrigation schedule. Additionally, by eliminating the need to travel to controller sites to make adjustments or programming changes, the ET Manager Cartridge contributes to significant labor savings. The ET Manager Cartridge is ideal for high-end residential or commercial applications.

How ET Manager Cartridge Works
Installs easily into ESP-LX Modular controller converting it to a weather based controller. Essentially preventing watering until moisture loss in the landscape reaches a predetermined amount (i.e. acts much like the fuel warning light to your gas tank). ET Manager Cartridge calculates moisture loss based upon:
- Hourly Rain and ET data received from ExactET’s local weather network.
- Site specific information (e.g. slope, plant type, root depth, soil type, sprinkler system) programmed in using the Setup Wizard.

Last year, Samuel Lemieux (Irrigation Lemieux) approached us with the idea of installing a weather based irrigation system….We proceeded with the installation and were extremely impressed with the results. By the end of the (2010) season, we only watered the grass 27 times instead of the usual 55 times….We are now looking at installing the system at other buildings.
