As a privately owned company, based in Calgary, ExactET promotes water management and conservation. The senior management team has over 60 years combined experience in irrigation design, construction, marketing and sales.

ExactET was founded by Internet guru Graham Duffy and irrigation specialist Darren Kovacs, and recently joined by Bob Poole, Marketing and Media expert.

Graham Duffy is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of ExactET Systems Inc.

Duffy was born in Australia and earned a business degree from the University of Technology in Sydney.

Since arriving in Canada in 1982 he has held a number of senior executive positions, including CEO and founder of Canadian media pioneer www.canoe.ca and president of Forzani Interactive, the e-commerce arm of the sports retail giant.

Duffy and wife Sue have two children, 20-year-old twins, Jordan and Taylor.

Darren Kovacs is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of ExactET Systems Inc.

Kovacs has over 25 years of water management experience in the irrigation industry with a primary focus on water conservation and the impacts of irrigation water waste. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is also a Certified Irrigation Designer, Certified Irrigation Contractor and Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor.

His is one of only five Alberta businesses awarded the honour of Gold Select Contractor by Rain Bird International. This designation is only given to those who meet the highest level of industry standards for design and conservation.

Kovacs and wife Dyan have two children, Emily and Jamie.

Bob Poole, is the Vice-President of Marketing and Media for ExactET Systems Inc.

Poole has over 40 years experience in leadership positions in newspapers, including stints as Editor-in-Chief of two major Canadian dailies, the Calgary Sun and the Victoria Times Colonist.

He also has his own communications company, works as a business consultant, and is a former vice-president of the Calgary Roughnecks professional lacrosse team. He was named the National Lacrosse League’s first ever public relations executive of the year.

He and wife Valerie have two daughters, Claire and Emma.
