ExactET's Clients Pass the 2 BILLION Mark in Litres of Water Saved

ExactET is delighted to announce that based on mid-season results it recently cruised past the TWO BILLION milestone in number of litres of water saved by its clients.

 It’s been a strange summer for the irrigation business. Thanks to a tough winter and a long thaw, the season got off to a late start.

And while temperature and rainfalls for May and June were around normal levels for much of Western Canada, the reverse was true for July and a large chunk of August.

But despite the recent hot, dry weather our clients still see a noticeable drop in irrigation frequencies when compared to former years when they relied on the old timer method of irrigating.

 The key stats for the 2014 irrigation season thus far are:

Vancouver:  Temperatures were 5.6% above normal; Rainfall 29.8% below normal – all due to a hot, dry July and August.

Calgary: Temperatures were 3.7% above normal; Rainfall 21.7% below normal – all due to a hot, dry July.

Edmonton:  Temperatures were 2.8% above normal; Rainfall 15.4% below normal – all due to a hot, dry July and August.

Toronto: Temperatures were normal; Rainfall 7.9% below normal

Ottawa : Temperatures were normal; Rainfall 25.8% above normal

Montreal: Temperatures were 3.7% above normal; Rainfall 22.0% above normal
