GET THE APP
1. Download SmartRain APP (Smartrain Mobile) from
Apple App Store
or
Google Play
IMPORTANT – Have your SmartET serial number ready
QUICK USER GUIDE
APP: LOG IN
1. Open APP and type in Username & Password provided by ExactET
2. Once logged-in the sites you have access to are shown. If site you want is not shown contact ExactET 403-255-7590 or support@exactet.ca
1. Click on Navigation button along bottom bar
MAP – Interactive MAP, allowing you to run Zone from MAP view
ZONES – Run a Zone from Zone List
MY SITES – Listing of all the sites that you have access to. Contact ExactET 403-255-7590 or support@exactet.ca if the site you need is not listed.
PROFILE – Update your profile
LOG OUT
APP: Turn Controller ON
APP: Turn Controller OFF (SUSPEND)
1. From ZONES View click on Enable SUSPEND and press OK when prompted
APP: ZONES – Run a Zone from the Zone List
1. Select and click on the Zone you wish to run. Press START
IMPORTANT – to run another zone before the first zone is finished you have to STOP the first zone in Zone View
APP: MAP – Run a Zone from the Map View
IMPORTANT – to run another Zone before the first Zone is finished you have to STOP the first Zone in MAP view
CONTROLLER: Turn Controller ON/OFF
Turn Controller ON
Slide Red Button to left to turn Controller ON. Button will turn Green to confirm ON.
Turn Controller OFF (Suspend Irrigation)
Slide Green Button to right to turn Controller OFF (Suspend Irrigation). Button will turn Red to confirm OFF.
CONTROLLER: Run a Zone
IMPORTANT – Ensure Controller is in ON/AUTO Position
IMPORTANT – Runtime default is 5 minutes
IMPORTANT – To run the next Zone you have to STOP the first Zone
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM: APP not operating sprinkler system
POSSIBLE CAUSE: Cellular/CLOUD communications not connected – check communication lights (top right of Controller) – green means communications all good
SOLUTION: If communication lights NOT green cycle power; wait 60 seconds to check if lights go green. If lights don’t go green operate system from Controller Touch Screen and notify ExactET of issue 403-255-7590 or support@exactet.ca
PROBLEM: APP not operating sprinkler system, but communication lights green
POSSIBLE CAUSE: Your smartphone communications with the SmartRain CLOUD may be frozen
SOLUTION: Cycle power to your Smartphone and retry.
If still not operating, operate irrigation system from Controller Touch Screen and notify ExactET of issue 403-255-7590 or support@exactet.ca
